Start with the installed engine

Provide the manufacturer, complete engine model including suffixes, engine serial number and a clear full-nameplate photograph. Add the machine or truck identity and application. If the engine was replaced, tell us; the vehicle description alone may not identify what is installed now.

As a manufacturer-specific example, Cummins parts information supports lookup using an engine serial number. Do not assume its identifier format applies to another manufacturer.

Keep series and configuration separate

A series name starts the search; it does not settle the exact replacement. The official Weichai WP12 dump-truck page describes one application range. It is not a parts interchange list for every WP12 engine.

Photograph the installed component label, connectors and relevant visible interfaces. Preserve complete injector, pump, sensor or control-unit references, including suffixes. Ask the responsible service specialist whether programming, calibration or a matched set must be addressed for this specific replacement; this guide does not specify a repair procedure.

Put the request in writing

Send one line per item with the reference as found, its source, quantity, engine identity, photo filenames and destination. State whether you need an individual component, a kit or an assembly, and identify any missing information.

Before ordering, check that the offered manufacturer, supply type, kit contents, identification conditions and lead time are stated in the quotation. Unresolved conditions should remain visible instead of being turned into a compatibility promise.

Browse the Weichai WP12 reference, prepare a multi-brand list, or request an identification review.
