Submitted searches are logged with the query, selected language, source page, result count, selected result, time and a pseudonymous session hash. Autocomplete requests are not stored in the search log. Search logs older than 180 days are removed during periodic search activity.
A WhatsApp link creates a reference record containing the source page, language, selected part, brand, model or engine context, search text, campaign and destination number. A first-party session cookie, hps_wa_session, lasts up to 180 days and helps identify rapid duplicate clicks. Language and theme preferences may also be stored by your browser.
The website does not send your WhatsApp message automatically. You choose whether to send the prefilled text and any photos after WhatsApp opens.
