Preserve the full pump identity
Send the machine plate and all pump-label lines, including manufacturer, complete model/order code and serial or date information when present. The Danfoss H1P parts manual explains the role of the complete model code in identifying its units. It is a manufacturer-specific example, not a decoding rule for every pump.
If the plate is unreadable, say so and send original photos. A similar casting or a matching machine model is not enough to approve a substitute.
Prepare the interface information
Ask the responsible technician to supply existing drawings or safely obtained observations for:
- Mounting arrangement, drive shaft and coupling interface.
- Port positions and the markings on the housing.
- Controller, regulator, coils and electrical connector labels.
- Any auxiliary pump or attached accessories included in the requested assembly.
Keep verified dimensions separate from estimates. Do not infer rotation direction from a photograph; ask the manufacturer or service specialist to identify the required specification and its viewing convention.
Review the offered scope
Clarify whether the offer includes a bare pump, pump with controls, combined assembly or repair kit. Request the actual offered manufacturer, supply type and supplier identification evidence. Compare every unresolved condition against the original request before accepting a replacement.
Fault diagnosis, contamination checks, installation, adjustments and commissioning belong to qualified service personnel following the relevant manuals. This purchasing checklist does not tell you to open a pressurized system or set a pump.
